We are an online shop, which means:

  • We are able to offer you lower prices
  • You are welcome to browse and order online 24/7/365
  • You (or your courier) can collect your online order, but call immediately before collecting


Pay within 3 days to secure items and pricing. We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment is not received within 3 days; to release products to genuine customers.

We reserve the right to verify that your payment has fully cleared in our account before releasing/dispatching goods.

Goods remain the property of Party Lights until paid for in full.
Some bank transfers (eg from Standard Bank) can take up to 3 working days.

Pay as per the payment method selected for your order. If you pay by another method, there can be additional charges for your account eg cash deposit attracts a R30 minimum charge.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

We cannot be held responsible if our manufacturers change the colours of our products in different order batches.

Processing your order

We usually process orders within 2 working days of receiving your cleared payment, (this can exclude weekends and public holidays).

Do not confuse processing and shipping times. Shipping is performed by couriers and their terms and conditions can be viewed on their websites.

Tracking info will be automatically emailed to you. Allow approx. 24hrs for tracking info to show on the courier's website.

Postage / Shipping / Collections / Deliveries

You (or your courier) may collect from us by prior appointment only.

Self-collect and visits can be accommodated most afternoons between 2pm and 6pm. We reserve mornings for the processing and courier collections of shipments.

We are not a courier or transport company. We offer various 3rd party postage/shipping options.

We cannot be held responsible for 3rd party inefficiencies or losses. Once you have received tracking details, contact the couriers directly for additional information.

Insurance is automatically included up to R1000 per shipment. Additional insurance is available on request.
We will assist with any claims between you and the courier company.
Weekend and public holiday delivery rates are not currently supported in our shipping models. These rates are more expensive, and generally unreliable.

We need to book the courier collection before 10am for same day delivery (in Pretoria and Johannesburg only); provided your payment reflects in our bank account.

Please plan your purchase and payment in time, and be reasonable with your expectations. eg do not place an order on Thursday afternoon, and expect delivery on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (even after selecting overnight delivery option).

We generally exceed reasonable service expectations.
